Tot Lot Meeting Minutes

March 2, 2007

Committee members present:  Jen Seo, chair; Lisa Cobb; Bonnie Pearce; Tia Birmingham; and Angela Compton

Reviewed information discussed at last meeting.

Discussed and looked at structures on front cover, page 28 and 40 of the Big Toy catalog.

Discussed meeting with President from Big Toys.  Free shipping, good warranty, will replace piece on tot lot that has pitch seeping from wood, and he gave suggestions for structures he would recommend for our site by the basketball court.

Jen visited an elementary school in Kirkland that she is aware of that has had a Big Toy structure since the early 80s and took photos.  The structure was in good condition and had aged very well over the last 20 years with lots of use.

Discussed three things Jen will be going to the board with – putting rock wall up on Craig’s List or other for $ to go towards a play structure, advising that we have narrowed our search down to one company and possibly request reimbursement for flyer drop.
